Five people have been killed in Russia’s Moscow region following fresh Ukrainian drone attacks targeting warehouses and industrial facilities, according to Russian authorities.
These strikes are part of an escalating wave of long-range drone assaults that have increasingly been reaching areas around the Russian capital, causing casualties and disrupting commercial activities.
Russian officials reported that emergency services responded to the sites after drones hit warehouse complexes, leading to explosions and fires. Several others were reportedly injured, as rescue teams continued search and recovery operations.
The attacks resulted in significant damage to storage facilities and nearby infrastructure, with firefighters working for hours to contain the ensuing blazes.
