The All Progressives Congress (APC) has established its campaign council for the upcoming Osun State governorship election, demonstrating the party’s commitment to regaining control in the state.
Announced by the party’s national leadership, the campaign council is responsible for coordinating political activities, rallying grassroots support, and spearheading the APC’s campaign efforts throughout the 30 local government areas and area offices in Osun State ahead of the election.
The council features seasoned politicians, current and former public officeholders, party leaders, youth representatives, women leaders, and other stakeholders committed to ensuring a successful outcome for the APC at the polls.
The party clarified that the council will manage campaign strategies, voter engagement, media relations, logistics, fundraising, and election-day coordination, collaborating closely with the governorship candidate and other party structures across the state.
APC leaders are optimistic that the campaign team possesses the expertise and political prowess to unite members, bolster the party’s grassroots network, and secure victory in the governorship election.
The launch of the campaign council occurs as political activities intensify throughout Osun State, with major political parties enhancing their consultations, rallies, and voter outreach efforts ahead of the election.
Party officials encouraged members to stay unified, avoid internal rifts, and work collectively to ensure the APC mounts a formidable challenge at the polls.
Additionally, the APC called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and other relevant institutions to ensure a free, fair, peaceful, and credible governorship election.
As campaigns are set to gain momentum in the coming weeks, political observers believe the makeup of the campaign council will be pivotal in shaping the APC’s electoral strategy and its quest to achieve victory in Osun State.
