Peter Okoye has openly criticized his twin brother and former P-Square partner, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, for allegedly exploiting online controversies to attack him.
The tension arose after Peter faced backlash for his recent comments regarding the relevance of Nigerian languages. In response to a fan’s inquiry, he questioned, “Who has a Nigerian language helped?” This statement quickly ignited criticism on social media.
As the reactions poured in, Rudeboy seemed to distance himself from Peter’s remarks, posting on X that he was “a nobody” without his culture, heritage, and language.
In response, Peter accused Rudeboy of using the situation to tarnish his reputation. He referenced an open letter he wrote two years prior, claiming that Rudeboy has consistently attempted to turn the public against him.
While acknowledging that he deserved criticism for his comments, Peter maintained that he was willing to accept responsibility. However, he accused Rudeboy of intentionally misrepresenting his words and leveraging the controversy to harm his image.
Peter also questioned why his brother always appeared eager to join in public criticism against him during times of online backlash.
