The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has announced major drug seizures estimated at N6.2 billion.
The agency says officers intercepted suspected “Jihadi drug” concealed in Ghana soap, along with opioids recovered at the Lagos airport.
In a separate operation in Rivers State, NDLEA operatives arrested a suspected cross-border drug kingpin and recovered cocaine and heroin hidden inside an iron safe at an alleged drug den.
The NDLEA says the operations are part of its ongoing campaign to dismantle drug trafficking networks and stop illegal substances from reaching Nigerian communities.
