Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly open to moving to Arsenal, contingent upon the Premier League champions adjusting their stance and agreeing on a transfer fee with the Turkish club.
Osimhen has surfaced as a potential target for Arsenal, with manager Mikel Arteta aiming to bolster his attacking lineup for the upcoming season.
The Gunners are said to be in search of another striker following Viktor Gyökeres’ inconsistent debut season, while Gabriel Jesus is anticipated to depart.
Arsenal had previously expressed interest in Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, but several attempts to acquire the Argentina international have reportedly been rejected by the Spanish club.
The prospect of Osimhen’s move has gained traction after Galatasaray engaged in discussions with Arsenal regarding potential deals for Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
However, Galatasaray is currently reluctant to approve Osimhen’s transfer, meaning Arsenal will need to significantly modify its position and finalize an agreement with the Turkish champions before the move can be realized.
