The appointments comprise one commissioner, three special advisers, 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants.
According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the appointments are intended to improve governance and enhance service delivery across the state.
Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area has been nominated as Commissioner for Special Duties. Her nomination has been forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The newly appointed Special Advisers are Hon. Abimbola Fajolu as Special Adviser on Environment, Chief Ade Adeniyi as Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development, and Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi as Special Adviser on Transport.
Among the Senior Special Assistants named are Erelu Toyin Ogungbure for Women Mobilisation (South), Bidemi Obayangbon for Forestry, Gboluge Olufunmi Alex for Community Engagement (South), Hon. Akin Adeniyi for Community Engagement (Central), and Obayan Theophilus Ayodeji for Community Engagement (North).
Others include Kelvin Solomon for Students Affairs, Adeolu Iwakun for Volunteer Services, Samson Job Bazuaye for Oil and Gas, Fade Ojamomi for Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, and Sam Adepoju for Public Engagement.
The government also appointed aides responsible for areas including scholarships, grassroots mobilisation, photography and non-indigene affairs.
Adeniyan explained that the complete list of the 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants would be made public at a later date.
He added that all the appointments took immediate effect.
