Troops Overrun ISWAP Camp in Borno

A video showing the troops and CJTF members at the location surfaced online following the operation.

The footage was shared on X by BSN, an investigative news platform.

According to reports, several insurgents fled the camp during the operation, leaving behind weapons, equipment and other materials.

Borno State has remained one of the areas most affected by Boko Haram insurgency and ISWAP activities in Nigeria’s Northeast.

The Nigerian military, in collaboration with local security groups such as the CJTF, has continued operations aimed at dismantling terrorist hideouts, disrupting insurgent activities and improving security in affected communities.
