Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has announced the Starrgirl World Tour, a 20-city international concert tour supporting her third studio album, Starrgirl.
The tour will begin on January 20, 2027, in Cologne, Germany, before moving through several European cities and the United Kingdom. The North American leg will start on March 18 in Houston, Texas, and continue through the United States and Canada.
The announcement was made shortly after the singer’s landmark performance at the National Football League (NFL) International Game in London, further strengthening her growing international profile.
European tour begins in January
According to the tour announcement by promoter Live Nation, Ayra Starr will open the European leg at Live Music Hall in Cologne on January 20.
The tour will then travel to Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich and Brussels before concluding the European leg in London on February 2, 2027, at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
The European dates will give fans across the continent an opportunity to experience music from Starrgirl alongside songs from the singer’s earlier catalogue.
North American leg starts in Houston
Ayra Starr will begin the North American leg on March 18 in Houston, Texas, followed by a performance in Dallas the next day.
Other scheduled stops include Atlanta, Silver Spring, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Toronto, Montreal, Minneapolis, Denver and Chicago, before the tour concludes on April 14 in San Francisco, California.
The 20-city tour marks another major international outing for the singer as Afrobeats continues to expand its audience across global music markets.
Historic NFL halftime performance
The tour announcement follows Ayra Starr’s performance during the halftime break of the NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 11, 2026.
She became the first African artist to headline an NFL International Games halftime show, according to reports on the event.
The performance brought further attention to the singer’s international career, which gained significant momentum following the release of her debut album, 19 & Dangerous, in 2021.
Global success of Starrgirl
Ayra Starr has accumulated more than seven billion global streams and one billion YouTube views, according to figures cited in reports about her career.
Her latest album, Starrgirl, was released on August 14, 2026, and features collaborations with artists including Wizkid, Rema, ZAYN and Leon Thomas.
A two-time Grammy nominee, the singer has become one of Nigeria’s most internationally recognised contemporary Afrobeats performers.
The upcoming tour is expected to introduce the Starrgirl project to audiences across Europe and North America while extending Ayra Starr’s presence on the global live-music circuit.
