Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has challenged fellow artiste Burna Boy to a boxing match.
The controversial singer made the challenge during a recent interview with Hip TV, where he said he was ready to put a huge amount of money on the proposed fight.
Speed Darlington confidently claimed that Burna Boy would not be able to defeat him in the ring.
He dismissed Burna Boy’s reputation and popularity, insisting that musical success does not automatically make someone a better fighter.
Speed Darlington said he wants the Grammy-winning artiste to accept the challenge so they can settle the matter inside the boxing ring.
He also declared that he believes he would emerge victorious if the two singers eventually faced each other.
The latest challenge comes after an earlier boxing encounter involving Speed Darlington and singer Portable.
Portable had previously claimed that Burna Boy gave him N20 million after he defeated Speed Darlington in a boxing match in April.
The claim was linked to Speed Darlington’s previous criticism of Burna Boy. Speed Darlington had made allegations about Burna Boy and American rapper Diddy, including claims surrounding Burna Boy’s Grammy award.
Burna Boy has not been reported as responding to Speed Darlington’s latest boxing challenge.
For now, it remains to be seen whether the Grammy-winning singer will accept the proposed fight or respond to the challenge.
