Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky reports that the country’s military conducted “long-range” attacks on two Russian oil refineries. The refineries targeted were located in Bashkortostan and Yaroslavl, with significant black smoke reported over Yaroslavl.
According to Russia’s regional governor, this represents the “largest ever attack by enemy drones,” claiming that 93 drones were shot down, but debris managed to damage oil storage tanks.
In various regions of Russia, the military reports intercepting and destroying 605 Ukrainian drones, including in Yaroslavl.
Recently, Ukraine has intensified its strikes on Russian infrastructure, targeting refineries and warehouses.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, officials report casualties from Russian drone attacks: three people killed in a residential area, two at a railway station, and one person on a ship carrying wheat near Odesa.
