Anthony Adeosun, the husband of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has passed away. He died on Wednesday at the age of 62, as confirmed by a statement from the Adeosun family.
Released to PUNCH Online on Thursday, the statement titled ‘Announcement of the Passing of Mr. Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun’ was issued by Rev. C. A. Adeosun on behalf of the family. It mentioned that Anthony died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Lagos State.
Known as a respected businessman and a committed Christian, Anthony made a significant positive impact on everyone who knew him. The statement expressed deep sorrow yet acknowledged the inevitability of God’s will as they announced the loss of their beloved husband, father, and brother.
At 62 years old, Niyi was recognized for his distinguished career and unwavering integrity. His generosity and faith were influential to many around him. He lived a life marked by dedication to hard work, service to God, and an unyielding commitment to his family and community.
