The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fully uploaded its governorship and State Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
This development was announced by the party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, in a statement on Friday. He congratulated the party’s leaders, members, and candidates across the country for reaching this significant milestone.

Professor Yilwatda expressed his satisfaction, stating that the APC has successfully completed the upload of all 56 Governorship and Deputy Governorship candidates, along with 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates, onto the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal.
He highlighted that this successful exercise demonstrates the party’s preparedness for the upcoming electoral process. He emphasized that this accomplishment showcases the organizational strength of the party.
The APC National Chairman also mentioned that the ruling party will now focus on engaging with Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections, while also highlighting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
