Nigerian singer and creative designer Nissi has made a bold comparison between herself and her Grammy-winning brother, Burna Boy, insisting that she is the stronger vocalist of the two.
Nissi made the statement during an interview with Cool FM, where she spoke about her musical abilities and her relationship with her famous sibling.
According to the singer, she believes she performs better than Burna Boy when it comes to singing and several other aspects of music.
She, however, acknowledged that the African Giant has a clear advantage when it comes to rap.
Nissi also claimed that Burna Boy shares her opinion about their respective singing abilities, saying the two of them have agreed that she is the better singer.
While the comment may generate reactions among music fans, Nissi and Burna Boy have both established themselves in different areas of the entertainment industry.
Nissi’s journey in music
Nissi began her professional music career in 2016 with the release of her debut single, “Pay Attention.” She has since released several songs and projects while working with both Nigerian and international artistes.
Her collaborations have included popular names such as Olamide and Fireboy DML.
Beyond music, Nissi has also built a reputation in the creative and technology space.
She was reportedly part of the engineering team involved in designing and assembling the 2023 Range Rover model.
The multi-talented artiste also worked on the design of the 2022 Havana Club X Burna project, which received recognition at Paris Packaging Week in 2023.
