Adewole Adebayo, the presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party, has demanded that Francis Fadahunsi be expelled immediately. Fadahunsi is a lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District and recently made comments encouraging supporters to assault members of the Accord Party.
During an appearance on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ Thursday, Adebayo shared his perspective by denouncing all forms of violence and inflammatory statements in public discussions. He stressed the importance of responsible leadership.
It has been reported that a video shows Fadahunsi directing his followers to attack members of the Accord Party ahead of the governorship election in the state on August 15, 2026.
Adebayo declared his complete condemnation of the statement linked to the Senator and criticized the widespread use of violence in public affairs. He called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) to expel Fadahunsi and others involved, warning that failure to take action would make them collectively responsible. Concerning law enforcement, he emphasized that their actions will be more telling than words once they bring this individual before a court.
