Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has criticised people attacking luxury shopper and social media personality KC Luxury following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
KC Luxury was recently arrested by the anti-narcotics agency in connection with an alleged cocaine trafficking case. The allegations remain subject to investigation and have not been established in court.
Bobrisky Calls Out Online Critics
Reacting to the controversy on social media, Bobrisky accused some Nigerians of hypocrisy, arguing that people who previously celebrated KC Luxury were now quick to condemn him after his arrest.
He questioned why some of those criticising the suspect did not express their concerns before the arrest.
Bobrisky also suggested that envy could be behind some of the reactions, particularly among people who previously associated with the luxury shopper.
‘I Will Not Abandon My Friends’
Bobrisky said he was not a friend of KC Luxury but maintained that people should not abandon their close associates simply because they are facing allegations.
He said he would condemn any wrongdoing committed by a friend while still standing by the person personally.
According to him, friendship should not automatically disappear because someone is accused of an offence.
Bobrisky also expressed disappointment at reports that some of KC Luxury’s associates were distancing themselves from him following the arrest.
Calls for Due Process
The controversy has generated significant discussion online, with social media users expressing different views about the allegations against KC Luxury.
While the NDLEA has accused him of involvement in an alleged international drug-trafficking operation, the case remains under investigation.
KC Luxury is presumed innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
