Oborevwori: I Earn N503,000 Monthly

The governor made the disclosure in a video that has gone viral from an event held in Asaba, the state capital.

According toObasanjonews24 Oborevwori, a Permanent Secretary in Delta State earns about N900,000 monthly, while the Head of Service receives N1 million.

He noted that the figures mean a Permanent Secretary’s monthly salary is significantly higher than that of the governor.

Oborevwori also highlighted Delta State’s early implementation of the minimum wage, saying the state’s salary structure reflects its commitment to improving workers’ welfare.

He said, “A Permanent Secretary’s salary is more than the governor’s. Your salary is N900,000; my salary is N503,000. Head of Service is N1 million.”

Delta State remains one of the major beneficiaries of allocations from the Federation Account, including revenue received under the 13 per cent derivation arrangement for oil-producing states.
