Ronaldo Back With a Bang, Scores in First Al-Nassr Game of the Season

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his delight after scoring in his first appearance of the season for the Saudi Pro League club.

Ronaldo came off the bench in the second half and completed the scoring as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Riyadh 4–0 on Friday.

Ronaldo Scores on Return

Al-Nassr took control of the match in the first half, with Abdulelah Al-Amri and Angelo Gabriel finding the net to give the home side a 2–0 advantage at the break.

João Félix added a third shortly after the restart before Ronaldo came on and scored the fourth goal to cap a convincing victory for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

‘Good to Be Back’

Following the match, Ronaldo shared a photograph of himself celebrating with his teammates on X.

“Good to be back,” the Portugal captain wrote.

The goal provided a positive start to Ronaldo’s new campaign as he returned to competitive action following an extended break after Portugal’s run to the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ronaldo will now look to build on his scoring return as Al-Nassr continue their Saudi Pro League campaign.
