The El Alamein International Air Show in Egypt has attracted defence companies and aviation exhibitors from several countries, with advanced fighter jets, helicopters, drones and military equipment taking centre stage.
The event, being held this week at an airport along Egypt’s northwestern Mediterranean coast, has brought together dozens of exhibitors showcasing a broad range of military and aviation technologies.
Among the aircraft displayed at the show are American F-15 and F-16 fighter jets, Russia’s Su-57E and French-made Rafale aircraft.
Visitors can also view military transport aircraft and helicopters, while international defence companies are displaying various categories of military hardware and equipment.
Unmanned aerial vehicles are another major feature of the exhibition, with Chinese and Egyptian-made drones displayed alongside traditional combat aircraft.
Egypt is showcasing several locally produced unmanned systems, including the Jabbar 200, Jabbar 250, Hamza-1 and Hamza-3 drones.
The exhibition also features aerial bombs and other military equipment presented by Egyptian and foreign companies at their respective pavilions.
The air show provides a platform for participating countries and defence manufacturers to display their latest aviation and military technologies while highlighting developments in unmanned systems and combat aircraft.
