Dangote Refinery Approves 32 Platforms for IPO Subscription

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has approved 32 banks, fintech companies, mobile money operators and investment platforms through which members of the public can subscribe for its shares.

The approved channels were published on the refinery’s official Initial Public Offer website as the company prepares to raise capital from Nigerian investors through the sale of ordinary shares.

The company stated: “Only subscribe through the channels listed on this page. Do not subscribe through any channel not confirmed here.”

The 32 approved channels consist of 19 banks, 10 fintech companies, two mobile operators and NGX Invest.

The refinery’s website currently lists the offer price at ₦525 per share, with investors required to subscribe for a minimum of 10 shares, equivalent to ₦5,250.

The public offer forms part of Dangote Refinery’s effort to raise additional capital by offering ordinary shares to members of the Nigerian investing public.

Prospective investors are advised to verify the official subscription channels before making any payment, particularly because the company has specifically warned against using platforms that are not on its approved list.
