The final round of Group C matches at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is set for Wednesday, with defending champions Nigeria taking on Egypt in a crucial showdown.

While Egypt has already exited the tournament, the Super Falcons still have a chance to advance to the quarter-finals and will fight hard for that spot.

Simultaneously, group leaders Malawi will face off against Zambia in the other Group C match.

Qualification Scenarios

Nigeria’s chances of moving forward hinge on their performance and the outcome of the Malawi-Zambia match. If Zambia triumphs over Malawi and Nigeria defeats Egypt, all three teams—Nigeria, Malawi, and Zambia—would end the group stage with six points each.

In this scenario, the Confederation of African Football will use its head-to-head rules to decide the final rankings among these teams. The top two teams in Group C will advance to the WAFCON 2026 quarter-finals.

Kick-Off Time and Broadcast Details

The key fixture between Nigeria and Egypt is scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m. West African Time at the Stade Olympique de Rabat. Fans can catch the live broadcast on AfroSport, along with SuperSport and CAF TV.
