The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has been ordered to produce socialite Afolabi Kazeem Micheal, popularly known as KC Luxury, before the court in connection with an alleged N39 billion cocaine seizure.
The order comes as legal proceedings continue over the allegations involving the socialite, who was arrested by the NDLEA in connection with the drug case.
The court’s directive requires the anti-drug agency to bring KC Luxury before it as the matter progresses. The development is expected to provide an opportunity for the court to hear the circumstances surrounding his arrest and the allegations against him.
The case has attracted significant public attention following the reported seizure of cocaine valued at about N39 billion and KC Luxury’s alleged connection to the investigation.
The NDLEA is expected to present the suspect and provide further details of its case as the legal proceedings continue.
KC Luxury remains entitled to the presumption of innocence unless and until the allegations against him are proven in court.
