Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receiving vast support from Northern Nigeria in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.
During the official launch of the 122-kilometre Kaduna–Birnin Gwari Road project on Tuesday, the governor confidently predicted that the region would rally behind the President, expecting Tinubu to gain at least 95 percent of the votes from the North.
Sani highlighted the Federal Government’s dedication to infrastructure development in Kaduna as a key factor boosting public confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.
He emphasized that Kaduna serves as the political and economic hub of Northern Nigeria, pointing out that the state’s development projects provide significant benefits for the entire region.
The governor noted that Kaduna’s residents welcome the Federal Government’s investments and see these ongoing projects as a clear indication of the administration’s commitment to enhancing the state’s infrastructure.
Reiterating his support for the President, Sani assured that the North would continue its loyalty to Tinubu leading up to the next general election.
He also expressed his belief that the President’s accomplishments would lead to substantial electoral backing in 2027, asserting with confidence that the region is set to deliver no less than 95 percent of its votes in Tinubu’s favor.
